Dr. Rosen Cosmetic Surgeon

My overall philosophy, with regards to my medical practice, is straightforward: I became a surgeon because I love to work with my hands. I love to sit and talk to patients as much as I enjoy performing cosmetic surgical procedures. I enjoy the responsibility that comes with changing peoples' bodies for the better.

I completed my advanced fellowship training near Beverly Hills, but Bucks County, PA, is my home. I enjoy the grounded, gently conservative approach to life here. Most of my patients want to look better, but they don't want to look like someone else: they just want to look their very best.

What My Patients Need

What do cosmetic surgery patients need? Compassionate listening, a complete understanding of their choices, and unrushed care before, during, and after their procedure. This is something we all want from our medical professionals, but we don’t receive it as often as we should.

While some individuals make up their minds quickly, a quickly made decision isn't always the best one.

I like my consultation patients to stop, relax, and know that I am responsible for their care. I hold myself accountable to them in making sure they receive only the procedures they actually need.

Picking the Proper Procedure

I make sure the procedures my patients go with are the ones that are going to work — not because they're necessarily newer or better, but because they will yield the best possible outcome for that particular individual.

Why? Because they deserve it. It takes strength, courage, and a sense of adventure to enhance one's appearance. For taking that leap, I admire my patients tremendously.

It is truly a pleasure to witness the joy patients experience when a physical imperfection or condition that has long bothered them has been corrected.

It is an honor and privilege to go through this process with my patients. They bring their courage and willingness to go through a surgery that can — and usually does — change their lives. Many people complain about the physical imperfections they see and talk about changes they'd like to make...someday. My patients actually do it!

Fellowship Trained Exclusively in Cosmetic Surgery of the Body and Face

Cosmetic surgeon Dr. Brent Rosen is a native of Bucks County and has returned to practice in the region he calls home. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts at Villanova University, he completed his Doctorate at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating in the top 5% of his class. During this time, he was honored with the Frederick H. Barth Memorial Award for clinical excellence.

Dr. Rosen then completed his surgical internship and residency in otorhinolaryngology — head and neck surgery and facial plastic surgery — and received the distinguished J.I. Schwartz Award for outstanding intern. He concluded his post-residency training with an approved American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery fellowship. He trained exclusively in cosmetic surgery at Inland Cosmetic Surgery Medical Center in Southern California, often described as "The Mecca of Cosmetic Surgery."

Working alongside Jacob Haiavy, M.D., Diplomate of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, he performed over 600 major cosmetic surgical procedures of the body and face. Cosmetic surgical training of this magnitude is rarely, if ever, seen in residency programs alone. Dr. Rosen is one of only a few surgeons in the area to be fellowship trained exclusively in cosmetic surgery.

More from Dr. Rosen

"I did advanced training and surgical work in California, and coming back to Pennsylvania to live and work was my goal. This is my home. I enjoy the grounded, gently conservative approach to life here and a region of people who are honest and straightforward in many respects. This shows up in my practice, too. Most of my patients here want to look better, but they don't want to look different.

This reflects my value of wanting my patients to look their best: to seek cosmetic surgery in order to look better, not to be altered in ways that are unrealistic. I strive for a very natural look and in my practice, that's what most of my patients want, as well. It's a great fit."
